New version of Dojo Login mobile app for students

Update includes:
- New design
- New dashboard screen
- Navigation improvements
Update from Google Play or the App Store:
The new dashboard displays the student's photo with a belt-colored border, medal count (if results are enabled), booking forms, booked and enrolled classes, public scheduler events, and event registration forms. Students can book classes and register for events directly from the dashboard if the forms are visible in Dojo Login. A quick menu at the bottom provides access to invoices, messages, and the QR code. The main menu now includes the school logo.
Training plans

The new training planning feature lets you:
- Create a list of exercises
- Create training sessions with exercises
- Assign training sessions to classes by date or sequence
- Mark training sessions as complete and add comments
- Share training sessions using a public URL
- Import training sessions from other accounts
- Mobile app support
Find this feature under “Classes” in the web app or in the DojoExpert mobile app main menu, starting with version 7.9. It is available on all plans (Basic, Pro, and Ultimate). Read the detailed tutorial here.
Instructor management

The new web app feature lets you:
- Assign instructors to classes
- Set instructor hourly rates
- Calculate instructor pay based on scheduled hours or check-ins
- Print or email payout reports
- Record payouts as costs in your financial records
Find this feature under "Classes". The Instructors page lists members whose role is set to "instructor".
The instructor list also shows login information, class enrollments, and schedules:
If the table is empty, add an instructor or change an existing member's role to instructor. Then assign the instructor to a class schedule:
Click EDIT to assign an instructor to a class. You can assign multiple instructors to the same class, each with a different hourly rate.
To calculate instructor pay, click the blue "payout management" button at the bottom of the page.
The schedule table shows hours based on instructor assignments and the selected date range. Click "add to payout" to add a row to the payout:
Click the edit link in the payout table to change values such as hourly rates or calculated hours.
Use the light bulb icons for explanations and tips.
New version of mobile app Dojo Login

A new version of the Dojo Login student app is available in the app stores (Android and iOS). Enhancements include:
- Permanent login - users stay logged in when they reopen the app
- Push notification improvements and bug fixes
- Webshop in the main menu - if your webshop is enabled, you can make it visible in Dojo Login
- Games - engage students with two new games, with more planned
Games
Enable games in the App Info menu in Dojo Login. Students must update the app to see the games and webshop link.
There are two games: Memory and Word guessing. Memory is a matching game with martial arts cards. Find all pairs as quickly as possible to join the leaderboard.
View the leaderboard in the web app. In Word guessing, students try to guess 5 words you choose as quickly as possible. Create as many games as you like; rankings use the average time across all games.
We hope students enjoy the games and compete for the best scores.

A new version of the DojoExpert mobile app is available in the app stores (Android and iOS). Updates include individual messages on the message board and milestone updates through member search. Screenshots:
Stripe integration updated
January 30, 2022
Stripe integration updates:
- Paid booking forms now include “add to cart” so students can select multiple dates and pay at once
- Payments are processed through the secure Stripe Checkout form
- Only paid bookings are registered (if the user cancels payment or their card is declined, no booking will be made)
- The same Stripe Checkout process for event registrations and webshop orders!
- After payment, users are redirected to a confirmation page. Booking and event forms now let you set its text, button link, and button label.
- For members linked to a Stripe customer_id in DojoExpert, create an invoice and click "pay with Stripe" to charge their default Stripe card immediately, without entering card details.
